The Tavern at Bayboro is a must for any fans of grouper sandwiches. Their prices are relatively affordable and they always have something great for everyone. Some highlights include the grouper sandwiches (duh!) and one of my favorites, the Social Chair. Be warned, this place is packed at noon/peak lunchtime! But not to fear, they have plenty of outdoor seating.

I recently tried out this local spot that had a 4.5-star rating and ordered their Grouben sandwich, a twist on the classic Reuben made with grouper. The sandwich was decent but didn't particularly stand out, and the fries were just okay. The ordering process was a bit confusing, but once inside, the environment was casual. Overall, it's a place I might revisit, but I'm not in a hurry to return.

Had to try their "famous" grouper sandwich. I got the crunchy one with a side of mac. The grouper was hot, fresh, great texture..BUT it had no flavor whatsoever. It had no taste. Also I could not taste the cheese in the mac. Just garlic & oil.

Staff was very nice & friendly though.

I went there expecting service.. like, regular table or bar service.. but maybe I read reviews wrong prior, or idk. But everything, drinks included, was a "to-go" situation. Not a hang out and chill and meet people place. It was a "turn and burn". But that being said, the drink selection, being minimal, was good. And my ahi tuna was fantastic. And, the prices were good. I'd go again, if in a pinch. But it was uncomfortably hot outside despite the fans, and there was no service except at the counter. I didnt realize this was anything other than a normal bar after reading reviews and viewing pics. It's not.

Очень кайфовое место! Живая музыка, спокойная атмосфера, пиво, фастфуд, всё в старом добром стиле таверны ?
Из минусов - здесь довольно душно, несмотря на наличии вентиляторов вокруг.
Креветки очень острые, но мне понравилось, так как я острое люблю.

This is a hidden gem! On Wednesdays they have open mic from 7 pm to 10 pm. So many talented acts! Each person normally plays 2 songs, so it’s a great variety of live music. Live music also Thursdays and Fridays. The food is also amazing!!! The burger and fries are to die for and the nachos is huge and tasty. Super casual and lay back atmosphere. And easy parking.

Stopped in unexpectedly for one of their famous Grouper sandwiches. I got the crunchy—coated with corn flakes and slivered almonds! Delicious and FRESH. Very comfy and casual dining where you order at the counter. The place was crowded but the service was fast and efficient. Will definitely go back and try another style of Grouper.
