Wong's Takeout Restaurant

If you are looking for the Wong's that was on Johnson & Palm in Pembroke pines. This is not it or related. Unfortunately just the same name. Food quality & Flavor not the same. Orange chicken did not taste like orange & chicken was overly breaded. Pan fried dumplings where deep fried not pan fried. Portion are great just no flavors.

I paid for a large Szechuan beef but got 3/4 container of bell peppers cut up really big with very little beef. I found this atrocity out once I got all the way home (3 minutes before the place closes). The taste was decent but the entire container of bell peppers was shameful.

So this place is quantity over quality BUT the food itself is standard for any Chinese take out place. It’s worth it to come here. Some dishes are do’s and some don’ts. Do: lo mein, sweet sour chicken, sesame chicken. Don’t: bourbon chicken The eggrolls are huge and the crab Rangoon are good too! Overall, the price is GREAT for the amount and if you want something that can be dinner and lunch the next day come here.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had in this area. I usually don't do this but what I experienced was terrible. Number one I asked for no MSG the lady tells me all our food already has MSG in it we can't take it out, so that either tells me that the ingredients are not fresh or somehow the food is premade. Second the crag Rangoon was spoiled, the egg rolls were hard as a rock, and the orange chicken look like it was already pre-made and reheated up with sauce, that also goes for the fried wings, they were freed a long time ago way before my order. I wouldn't leave stars at all but I had to in order to leave a comment take it for me save your money and go elsewhere. The city of plantation I believe needs to look in on this place because the food was terrible. I called to tell the lady and she hung up on me. I called a few other times and no one even answered. They know exactly why I was calling, and they knew exactly what they did.

Pretty cheap and a very large amount of food. Had the lo mein and it wasn't the best, but at that price, ($10.25), well worth it. I believe you can order a combo meal and it would feed two. Will be trying another dish to give an update. Hey you pay this at McDonald's for an egg McMuffin and coffee. So make your choice. All in all a good takeaway and value.

My husband told me about this place, but I was hesitant. Chinese takeout hasn’t been the same to me since the 90s. We ordered the family special and EVERYTHING was amazing! The rice was delicious, the eggrolls were huge. And the honey garlic chicken was more chicken than fried dough. We also got the beef and broccoli. You can tell they use fresh broccoli and the meat was perfectly tender. All in all, you can tell they don’t cut corners on quality. Chicken tasted like chicken, the beef wasn’t chewy, and portions were HUGE! I will definitely be ordering again.

The egg rolls are out of the world amazing, wonton soup broth was delicious, everything we order was fresh hot delicious! Best Chinese I have had in awhile

I might have just found my new go-to for Chinese. The food is tasty. The portions are VERY generous and can easily feed 2 or 3 people. Restaurant is take out only.
