Bun Bo Hue is my new favorite Vietnamese soup now after pho and this place didn’t disappoint. The soup was loaded and also the plate of veggies. Broth is very tasty. The jackfruit salad is also good with crackers.

Delicious! Best bun bo hue I’ve had.
All ingredients are plentiful, very fresh and clean. The sausage was spicy & flavorful. We arrived early afternoon & although the place was swamped, we were seated immediately. Food took a bit to arrive at the table but it was hot & the service was efficient. Definitely a keeper & will return!

Hello! The Trekking Pawns here! Very friendly staff with delicious food! Had the Bun Bo Hue and was very happy with the meal. Even gave a free bowl of noodle soup for the little one. Also got the durian smoothie and it was very satisfying. Seem like a popular place and did not feel rush to leave and was allowed to take our time to eat.

Business is busy even on a Tuesday lunch time. We had the phenomenal trio of bun bo hue, mi quang, and combination platter (banh nam, banh bot loc, and banh beo). The flavors were deep and tasted just right. On top of that, the prices are fairly set considering it to be located in the heart of OC. 10/10 will come back!

Ordered pork ribs and shrimp with rice. Very disappointing. It was ok, but I don't like to go to a restaurant for ok food. If I want ok food, I would make it myself and save my money. My wife had a soup noodle dish, with pork blood, pig feet, fish balls?,.. She said it wasn't as good as she remembered. The place was relatively empty. Back in the day, you had to wait a little while for a table. Not anymore or maybe because we came at an off peak time.

Wait staff wasn't very friendly, but that's par for the course for these restaurants.

My family came here as a party of 6. It was the busiest time for them when we arrived. The wait was quick. Our server was very nice and gentle! Considering how busy it was. The experience was 10\10.

We order bún bò Huế. It was a solid 8\10. The order comes with a big plate of fresh vegetables which really pushes the dish over to 10\10.

I would def recommend coming her for lunch!

I have been wanting to try this place because I heard their banh beo ( steamed rice cake with pork grinds ) and banh bot loc ( steam clear tapioca dumpling with shrimp ) are really good.

They are not disappointing, service is fast and refill our water a few times. The banh beo with fish sauce is delicious and the banh bot loc is similar to shrimp dumpling ( dim sum ) but chewy and has good flavor. They are also good for sharing in the group!

We also ordered bun Bo hue, can’t really handle spicy so we ordered mild but it is still too spicy for us ? I think it is a good choice with people that like spicy. But the pork blood and beef flank are good.

Parking lot have tiny parking spaces so be careful when parking. We arrive around 11am so no wait to the restaurant. Will come back for banh beo and banh bot loc! Price wise each dish is around $15 or less so it’s affordable.
