Went here during for dinner on a busy Saturday during Kutztown University Parent Weekend. There was a short wait (expected) but were met with smiles from staff. Great brew pub atmosphere and food did not disappoint. Wait staff was very friendly. Food had lots of flavor and looking forward to going back again.

Met a friend here for drinks and dinner and had a very nice experience! The restaurant is very clean and well-lit, it's well-maintained and offers a nice selection of craft beers and food. The food we ordered was freshly made, hot, and well seasoned ?. Being nestled in the middle of PA Dutch country, I felt the food leaned on the heavy side in terms of composition and could benefit from some more acid and vegetables for brightness. It was a little loud when the restaurant was packed, and you know that's not an environment I prefer, but the servers were attentive and pleasant, and the overall vibe of the place was friendly. Worth checking out!

The place is large and spacious--very comfortable. Service was friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious. We had sandwiches and everything was top-notch from the bread to the contents. The onion rings are made in-house, which is a big thing for me. And the stuffed tater tots were unique and fantastic.

So many brewery pubs these days serve only IPAs and maybe one or two other options, but not here. There were plenty of ales, lagers, stouts, etc. and (as someone who doesn't care for IPAs or sours) I was happy to have so many options. The next time family/friends want to go out and sample beers, Kutztown Tavern is definitely going to be my recommendation

Came here 3 times in the last few weeks. All 3 meals were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back again. The pretzel appetizer is fantastic. I have had chicken Mediterranean, crab cake sandwich, and seafood pasta. All were great. Service was good and friendly.

This has quickly become our go to any time we're in Kutztown. The staff is always kind, the craft beer selection is fantastic and the food is fabulous! They have vegetarian and gluten free options, in addition to an amazing menu. We usually have 4-6 people and there's often a wait, but it's so worth it. Plan on $25-35 per person if your table splits appetizers and are light drinkers. There's kids options too. Never a bad meal here!!

Wings, beers, pizza and sandwiches are solid! Stir fry is a go to for our family! Fish and Chips is massive. Service is very good. Always happy when we eat there. Check out their beers on Untappd. It was our first time here. We happened to come to visit our friends in town, and this is where our friends took us to. We heard burgers are very good here.
Instead of trying their burgers since I had burger and fries on the previous day, I opted for a meatloaf entree with baked potato as the side. I was not disappointed. My meatloaf itself was quite decent (alas not the best I had in terms of flavoring), and it came with a very generous serving of steamed broccoli that was very tasty.
Around our table, Cowboy Burger looked delicious and tasted very good per my friend. Mediterranean Salad had a split vote, the down side was unusually hard broccoli. Perhaps it needed to be blanched before serving. Another one was the lack of feta cheese as a substitute for blue cheese (since we were informed they had all kinds of cheeses initially). The spinach was nice and fresh, but tomatoes and nuts were proportionately small.
Our server was very pleasant, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very good in this place.
Overall, it was a very good dining experience with friends. I'll be back if I ever come back to Kutztown.

I hear they have good beer. I can’t really say because no waitress ever showed up. The Hostess ignored us. The waitresses practice selective blindness. Wait.. $10 for a pretzel? That must be an amazing pretzel. Waste of time.
