I've never had a bad experience here! The food (especially the bruschetta!) is very good. I've also enjoyed the luau burger and the 21 shrimp platter

Stopped for dinner while traveling through town

Set on a picturesque main street. Very much a tavern atmosphere

Food: delicious! I had the chili, wife had the French onion. I had chicken parm, wife had burger. Couldn't have been more satisfied!! Chili was perfect

Service: everyone was friendly. Our waiter was very nice and attentive

Sat myself. Cobwebs in corner less than a foot above the booth. Salad was dry with browning lettuce. Pasta was far from fresh and was served on a chipped plate. Found a hair a few bites in. I would not recommend.

A gem of Lewisburg! Aesthetics inside are bar/tavern, they have outdoor dining and a very nice patio.
The servers were so friendly and sweet, absolutely too notch!
Excellent options of unique food and drinks on menu, the quality of everything was superb!
We'll be back for sure!

Our first time here and after a rocky start, and both my daughter-in-law and I sending our food back, it turned out amazing!
We sat in the cute little front window seat, and were waited on promptly.
Got fried pickles (spears) as an appetizer.
I ordered a chicken cheese steak and I forget what she ordered, but her's was so wrong and mine was burned.
The server was so nice and explained they were training a new cook.
After the regular cook stepped in and fixed our food, it was excellent!
Will definitely try again!

Update: We made a second visit on 4/21/23, Tristen was very professional, really made you feel like he was invested in his job. He made an older couple feel welcome on their date night.

Previous visit: 04/09/23, Young lady who has worked at this location for 8 years, tended bar and provided meals, was very kind and warm to all customers, even to a few who seemed to have poor manners. Fantastic, low key, neighborhood bar near Bucknell University. Drinks and food options were very favorable. Highly recommend.

Brendan's is a very good typical US restaurant attached to a large bar, specializing in beer and beef and chicken dishes, steaks and hamburgers made of stock-yard beef. I like their fish dishes, especially their haddock sandwich, though they have haddock salmon dinners, too. Several Italian dinners. All the food is good and tasty, well prepared.

The service is a bit slow, especially if crowded; otherwise, attentive and responsive.

We loved this place. Countless options for beer and other alcoholic beverages. Great music. Great atmosphere. Everything we ordered for food was outstanding. The burgers here are fantastic. The tavern platter is highly recommended. The wings are crispy and decent sized. This is definitely not your typical bar food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We shall return.
